Meet the Jensky’s
All portraits were captured in March of 2020, using the safety guidelines of the CDC. Portraits were also taken from over 12 feet or more using a zoom 70mm-300mm lens and portraits were also cropped in post production.
WHAT IS THE MOST CHALLENGING PART OF THIS CORONAVIRUS PANDEMIC ARE YOU EXPERIENCING NOW?
Fear of my parents who are older, being affected.
Making sure my children continue to learn and stay challenged and engaged.
Fear of the unknown and what still could come.
WHAT IS THE MOST POSITIVE THING YOU HAVE EXPERIENCED DURING THIS TIME?
Time with our family in our home where we feel safe. We are drawing, making cards, cooking, taking social distancing walks and trying to make the best of this! Things we don’t always get to do, we are now doing! It’s nice to take a break from “busy”!
WHAT DO YOU WANT YOUR CHILDREN/FAMILY TO MOST REMEMBER ABOUT DURING THIS TIME?
While it was a scary time, we looked for the silver lining. That’s a great life lesson.
The effects of all of this are unknown but I hope my kids will be inspired to do their part to help with wherever things land and wherever the needs fall.
Currently, we are no longer shooting sessions on-site with the #saferathome order. However, we would still love to keep an online journal and share portraits you are taking to continue to the project.
