Meet Rachael | Owner of RP Photography | 920 Women in Business
Welcome to episode four of our blog series 920 Women in biz where we spotlight women entrepreneurs in the 920! Today’s guest on the blog is Rachael the owner of RP Photography. I had the extended pleasure of getting to observe a fellow photographer working her magic in a genre that no longer fits me… NEWBORNS
First and foremost Rachael’s studio is the absolute cutest. I would be lying if I didn’t say regret washed over me for not taking my last baby in for portraits like this. I was a photographer, so I insisted on doing it myself, and let’s just say…. it wasn’t my best work. All the props, wraps, and patience it takes to execute a shoot like this is beyond my capacity which is why I am thrilled to give you an outstanding referral to Rachael if you're in the market for someone who is a full-service portrait photographer like me.
Rachael and I both understand that photography is a luxury and all of the hard work, training, certifications, and everything are what this job look so “easy.” Rachael designs walls, albums and more so you don’t have to! I can speak from personal experience that even I, a PHOTOGRAPHER fails to print images unless someone forces me to or does it for me.
Which reminds me, I STILL have yet to print or even share any of our vacation pictures from MARCH ya’ll. So let me be the testimony and say, PAY someone to do it for you.
Rachael also provides the full treatment with a hair and makeup artist, beer for dad, wine for mom, and a comfy cozy place to relax while she works. her studio is set up for efficiency and it’s amazing what she can produce in a small but beautifully designed space. She has all the props, all the outfits so all parents have to do is show up!
