FAQ’s

How far should I book my shoot?

We suggest that you book out at least 3-6 months in advance from the date you would need your product/images. For example, if you wanted your album to give as a gift in June, we suggest you book your shoot in January to give you enough time to prepare and to also have the opportunity to take advantage of our pre-shoot payment plans.

What’s included in a Boudoir Shoot?

Everything you need to feel prepared, supported, and taken care of is included. Your experience begins with personalized guidance to help you plan your session, followed by professional hair and makeup to bring your look together in a way that feels like you, just elevated.

During your session, you’ll be fully guided through posing and expression, so you never have to wonder what to do or how to move. After your shoot, your images are thoughtfully retouched and presented during a private design and ordering appointment, where you’ll choose your favorite images and how you’d like to enjoy them.

Each experience includes a curated collection of digital images with print release, along with artwork credit that can be applied toward albums, wall art, or additional images, based on the experience you select.

This is a fully supported, start-to-finish experience, so you can focus on showing up and being in the moment.

What’s the investment for a Boudoir Shoot?

Our session fee to book is $500. The final cost will depend on why type of boudoir experience you select, how you choose to pay for your session, and if you choose to take advantage of any upgrade specials we offer during your booking process. To serve you best, we ask that you book a free, no-strings-attached, private consultation to go over the details and pre-shoot payment plans. Our experiences start at $2700.00 and go up from there. The average investment our clients make is $3000-$7,000.

Do you offer financing options?

We accept PayPal credit and offer in-house financing via pre-shoot payment plans.

Do you offer couple sessions?

Yes! We absolutely love working with couples!

Do you offer sessions for solo men?

Yes, with proper vetting during a consultation. We create artistic, editorial images and do not photograph sexual acts or explicit content. Clear boundaries are established before your session and are expected to be respected at all times. Our studio operates as a professional, team-based environment within a shared building that has security in place. You will never be alone with staff. Any inappropriate behavior or disregard for boundaries will result in the session ending immediately and you being asked to leave. If you’re here for a confident, elevated experience, we’ve got you.

Will you share my images?

Absolutely not without your exclusive permission! We always require a model release BEFORE we get you into the studio so we know exactly your privacy preferences before you even step foot in front of our camera.

Can I bring a friend/spouse?

Yes, if they are going to be supportive and hype you up with zero judgment. No, if they are going to try and critique and give unsolicited feedback.

How long does it take to get my album or wall art back?

Once your package is paid in full it typically takes 4-6 weeks.

Do you shoot outside of the studio?

Yes, we have our modern downtown studio and we are willing to travel and offer destination shoots.

Will you help me pose?

Yes, this is where we truly shine.

You don’t need any experience in front of the camera. Before your session, you’ll receive a prep guide that includes our full portfolio, so you can explore different poses, styles, and get a feel for what resonates with you. If you’re someone who likes to come in feeling a little extra prepared, our social media is full of fun posing videos you can watch (and even practice along with) ahead of time.

During your session, we guide you through everything. We’ll demonstrate poses, direct you step-by-step, and often step in alongside you so you can feel it in your body, not just try to figure it out.

We also have posing cards available as a visual reference when needed, but most of the time, the experience flows naturally with real-time direction and support.

You’re never left wondering what to do.

Our job is to make sure you feel comfortable, confident, and fully taken care of every step of the way.

Will you take away my cellulite and make me look thin?

Our goal is for you to feel comfortable, confident, and genuinely good in your body, exactly as you are. We don’t approach this work from a place of “fixing” or changing you. Instead, we focus on helping you see yourself in a new light, one that feels more honest, more compassionate, and more connected.

Everyone who walks through our doors is on their own journey with their body, and we meet you there. We take the time to understand what you’re feeling, what you’re navigating, and what would help you feel most at ease during your session.

We use posing, wardrobe, and lighting intentionally to highlight you in a way that feels natural and aligned. When it comes to editing, we keep things light and thoughtful, because we believe there’s something powerful about recognizing yourself in your images. This experience isn’t about becoming someone else.
It’s about softening into who you already are.

If you have specific questions or preferences around this, we’re always open to talking through them during your consult.

How do I book a session?

The first step to booking a session is to book a private consultation. This call is designed to give you all the information you need to make the decision on if we are going to be the best fit for you and you the best fit for us. I don’t want to waste your time, if you “have to know the price” and all the details before you can give your time for a consult, we are not the place for you and that is 100% okay! Our team will be reaching out to you soon via text message to check in and see how you are feeling and to get you scheduled for a consult! Or you can book that consult right now!

Meet Our Team

Mary

Hi love! I’m the owner and lead photographer here at Studio NÜDE. I’ve been behind the camera for over fourteen years, and in 2021 I made the shift to focus exclusively on boudoir and intimate portraiture.

I’m deeply passionate about creating a space where people can feel safe, seen, and fully expressed in their bodies.

I also lead the Broken and Beloved Project, an intimate, healing-centered experience that uses boudoir and connection as a pathway back to self. What started as something small quickly grew into something much bigger, which led me to expand and bring on a team to support the experience we offer here.

Every person who walks into this space deserves to feel confident, respected, and free in their skin, and that’s the standard we hold in everything we do.

JAKIE

Hi! I am Jakie. I have been working at Studio Nüde for over three years now. I graduated from UWGB with a Bachelor’s in Photography and Art restoration. Before coming here I lived in Australia briefly and worked as a freelance photographer there. My career here started as a makeup artist and retoucher and have since added more certifications of Color Analysis and associate Photographer to my toolbox. I am absolutely in love with watching our clients transform right before my eyes from the makeup chair to their reveal session. Nothing makes me tear up and get in my feels than watching a client falling in love with themselves. It’s such a gift!
